'STRAYA DAY

Like most Sydney-siders we usually spend the day at the Big Day Out or enjoying a beachside barbie listening to the JJJ Hottest 100. This year we checked out the Sydney Festival and more specifically Sydney Playground where the headlining act was Peppa Pig. Yes, I traded Eddie Vedder for a a barrage of prams and a dancing pig. Sigh. Least we made it home for the top 20 and a cold beer. Number one was Aussie singer-songwriter Vance Joy's  hit Riptide. It's the perfect track to kick back with a cold bevvy and soak up our Aussie summer.  Here's to the lucky country.
