PARIS, JE T'AIME
A week in the 'City of Love' with my loves. Well, mainly my little love as hubby was at SILMO eyewear show every day- but c'es la vie, the kid and I know how to have a good time. We stayed in the 16th arrondissement in a gorgeous apartment, literally steps from the Arc de Triomphe.
We didn't do anything particularly touristy (other than consume a tuck load of croissants, of course), partly because we were sick in bed for the first three days, and secondly because the best way to soak up a city's atmosphere is to simply wander the streets. Each morning I would pop Archie in his $25 kmart stroller (which 1.needs longer handles & 2. isn't the ideal choice for cobble stones) and we would wander, no agenda- and just see where the day would take us. We'd stop at a sidewalk cafe for a pastry and to people watch before discovering a playground, a carousel, a hidden lane way - just soaking up the Parisian life. And then, there was the matter of the Chloe Bag I've been squirrelling my coins for. It's called the "Marcie" - meant to be, Oui Oui?! xo
