A UNICORN PARTY FOR OUR RAINBOW BABE | POPPY VALENTINE TURNS ONE

When it comes to sharing my motherhood milestones,  I often start the sentence with "I never thought.." and well, I never thought I'd be that mum who goes all out and throws a mini-festival of a first birthday party, but well, here we are!

Last Sunday we celebrated the first year of our much longed-for double rainbow babe with a hugely happy magical unicorn garden party. We went all out. Was it a little OTT? Maybe. Am I glad we did it? YES! The look on Poppy' face when she woke up from her nap and saw our back garden had been transformed into a magic garden was priceless. She is such a social butterfly and really had the best day.

I can't take all the credit- well any of the credit really - for just how special the set-up was. After creating the most beautiful scene for my baby shower last year (see HERE), I knew Even Planner and Stylist Jo Kalivas would take my rainbow/unicorn theme and create magic- and add a very personalised touch.  It was truly stunning! And most importantly Poppy LOVED it.

Happy First Birthday my darling Poppy Valentine! When we all sang you "Happy Birthday"  you cuddled into me and smiled at everyone and then your big bro blew out your candle. We created lots of memories on your special day and have these beautiful photos for you to look back on in years to come. You are just so bloody adorable. Love you to the end of the rainbow x infinity.
