RECIPE | CHOC CACAO BLISS BALLS WITH A TWIST
Who doesn’t love a bliss ball? They’re yummy, easy to make, easy to eat on the go and get the tick of approval from even the fussiest of toddlers. Depending on what combo of ingredients you choose, they are usually packed full of goodness like protein, fibre and healthy fats.
But these choc cacao bliss balls have an extra twist, however that makes them even more super-charged with goodness. They’re made with watermelon seed butter.
Watermelon seeds are one of the most nutrient-dense varieties of seeds found and are a rich source of proteins, B complex vitamins, omega 3 fatty acids, omega 6 fatty acids, magnesium, zinc, copper, potassium, iron and folate.

Lori’s Wholesome Pantry have shared this recipe for nutrient-packed bliss balls using their Watermelon Seed Butter - Choc Cacao - which FYI is also a seriously yummy snack in it’s own right or in smoothies, on toast or pancakes!
WATERMELON SEED BUTTER BALLS CHOC-CACAO
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup Lori’s Wholesome Pantry Watermelon Seed Butter- choc cacao
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
1. Use a blender or food processor and add all of the ingredients and blend until the ingredients are combined.
2. If the mixture is too wet, add more oats. If the mixture is too dry, add a drop more Watermelon seed butter.
3. Roll mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
4. Place balls into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to a week - if they last that long!
